Celtis occidentalis North American Common Hackberry Part III

Well May came along and it was time for me to take my Hackberry seeds out of the fridge. I put them on my desk and forgot about them for a few days, so when I opened up the ziplock that I had the seeds in I got a nice little surprise.

Hackberry Seeds

As you can see, several are already sprouted! So I removed them from the paper towel and planted them in some peate disks and put them in a heated seed tray on a shelf over my desk.

Now comes the exciting part at watching them change almost daily as they grow into some bonsai trees. I will try to keep updating their progress here as I can.
